  • A Limited edition of 200 numbered copies signed by Stephen King, with deluxe binding, slipcase, colored end papers and a print of the book jacket image. Original issue price £200 ($325). Current value $600 - $700

  • A limited edition of 700 numbered copies that are essentially identical in appearance to the 200 copy edition, but has a facsimile signature instead of being signed personally by King. Original issue price £100. Current value $200 - $250

  • A WH SMITH "limited" edition of an undetermined number of copies.. It's the same as a first edition but with a purple cover. Price will likely be in the $25-$50 range

  • A Waterstones edition that looks like the 1st edition but has an extra author's note by King. Price will likely be in the $20-$30 range

  • The regular 1st trade edition - $10-$15

In a very unusual move, the 200 copy edition could only be ordered/shipped to an address OUTSIDE the North America. As such, US collectors found themselves scrambling to try and secure copies from friends or other collectors who lived in other countries & would agree to then ship extra copies to their buddies in the USA. For collectors living outside of the UK in countries like Australia & New Zealand, high shipping and foreign transaction fees put the publishers price of the book at closer to £250 ($400). These factors may contribute to higher than usual resale prices on the secondary market.

There were 5 different variants produced in the UK, although only the limited and gift editions would be considered collectible, I'm listing them all here for the sake of being thorough
